Bikourim had text, a logo and an initial mockup. We created its custom website: an animated page introducing the association, its commitments and its committee, with direct access to contact details.

The starting point
Bikourim is a solidarity association founded on gratitude, giving and passing things on. Its secretary general, Rodolphe Oppenheimer, supplied an introduction, committee details and a website mockup. The project involved presenting this content with a visual identity specific to the association and launching its first website on bikourim.com.
Client website
The motto occupies the first screen. The rest of the page develops its meaning, then introduces the people behind the association and how to contact them.
The challenges
The text already explained the meaning of first fruits, gratitude and passing things on. It needed a reading structure without rewriting the mission or adding undocumented activities.
The arch, pomegranates and logo colours provided specific visual material. We extended these into the first screen, graphic details and animations.
A single page was enough for this first introduction: understand the origins, read the commitments, identify the committee and write to the association.
What we did
Used the association’s supplied text and information, with section navigation: origins, commitments, transmission, committee and contact.
Created a midnight blue and gold design with large serif typography, the logo’s arch and recurring pomegranate motifs.
Developed an animated logo introduction that visitors can skip, followed by scroll reveals and hover interactions.
Presented four clear commitments and three profiles introducing committee members and their roles.
Added email contact, a legal notice page and Matomo audience measurement configured without cookies.
Launched bikourim.com over HTTPS, checked desktop and mobile versions, then adjusted the introduction and contact address hover interaction.
The project presented here covers website creation and launch from the supplied materials. Delivery adjustments are documented; this case study does not describe an ongoing maintenance contract.
Custom development
The site uses HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with locally hosted fonts and images. The effects support the presentation and include a mode adapted to reduced-motion preferences.
The menu leads directly to the association’s origins, commitments, transmission, committee and contact. The legal notice has its own page.
The arch is drawn, the name appears and the scene opens onto the motto. Logo motifs recur in the opening screen effects and page transitions.
The introduction can be skipped. The code respects reduced-motion preferences and keeps the content readable when JavaScript is disabled.
For visitors
The heading “Receive with gratitude, give with heart, pass on responsibly” introduces Bikourim’s spirit from the first screen.
Supporting people, supporting families, being present and building connections are presented as four points using the association’s wording.
The chairman, secretary general and treasurer are introduced with their roles. The headquarters, association identity and contact address complete the page.
Who visits, and why
Read about the name’s origins and the association’s values, then explore its commitments.
Identify the committee and open an email to the contact address to ask a question or express interest.
What the project delivers
These items describe the delivered website and its functions. No fundraising, visitor or enquiry results are claimed.
Bikourim has an online introduction on bikourim.com, accessible over HTTPS, with association information and a legal notice.
The colours, arch and pomegranates bring consistency to the screens and animations while preserving the materials supplied by the client.
Visitors can read the introduction from top to bottom and reach the contact from the menu or page buttons.
