WordPress website redesign

Rework your website without losing what works.

Your website is already online, but it no longer presents your business well, loads slowly or has become too risky to change. We review its pages, design and contact journey after identifying the content and URLs to protect. Hosting and maintenance remain optional and separate from the redesign.

The signs

A redesign is worth discussing if…

  1. 01

Your services have changed but the website still describes your business from five years ago.

  2. 02

Every edit means fighting with a theme or page builder.

  3. 03

The website is slow on mobile and visitors leave before understanding what you do.

  4. 04

You want to redesign the website but are worried about losing pages that bring enquiries.

What a redesign includes

A planned rework, followed by checks.

The quotation separates what we keep, change and create. You know what will change before work starts.

  • Review of the existing website

Visited pages, pages visible on Google, reusable content, forms, plugins and hosting. We identify what has value before changing anything.

  • URL plan

Each important old page gets a decision: keep its URL, merge it or redirect it. Redirects are ready before launch.

  • Two design directions

When the design changes, we code two different homepage versions. You browse both before choosing.

  • Pages and text

Clearer structure, better explanations of services and calls to action in the right places. Your useful text and photos are reused.

  • Speed and mobile

Unnecessary plugins removed, images optimised and display checked on mobile. The website should remain easy to maintain.

  • Checked launch

Links, forms, redirects, titles, internal links and sitemap checked before and after publication.

Choose the right work

Does everything really need rebuilding?

A redesign takes time and energy. Before starting, make sure it is the right answer. Sometimes it isn't.

If the website mainly needs ongoing care

It presents your business well, but updates pile up and small fixes drag on. Regular maintenance may be enough.

If only a few pages are affected

A form, mobile display or a broken slider: a targeted fix may be enough. That is what we did for Z Architecture, an image-rich business website the client wanted to keep. Precise fixes, backups and checks of important pages, without a redesign.

If structure, content and design need to change together

Then a redesign makes sense. We explain which pages to keep or rework, and prepare redirects so Google can find its way. If you are unsure which situation applies, start with a diagnostic review or, for a more detailed assessment, an audit.

Improve SEO during a redesign

A redesign is a good time to organise things: a page for each service, titles that describe the page's content, meaningful links between pages and a fast mobile website. We start with what Google already shows of your website, rather than a keyword list from a tool.

How the redesign works

Three stages, each with your approval.

  1. 01

    Review and quotation

We review the website and your goals. We identify important pages, reusable content and required access, then you approve the quotation.

  2. 02

    New version

We prepare the new version for your review. Text, navigation and features follow the agreed scope.

  3. 03

    Publication and checks

Before publication: mobile display, forms, links and redirects. Afterwards: updated titles, internal links and sitemap, with errors monitored.

Frequently asked questions

What people often ask us.

Could a redesign affect my search rankings?

Yes, any redesign can cause rankings to move. We identify useful pages, keep their URLs where possible and prepare redirects. This reduces avoidable errors, but no one can guarantee your Google rankings.

Can I keep my text, photos and some pages?

Yes. Together, we identify what remains useful. The quotation separates retained content, content to change and pages to create.

What should I send you to get started?

The website address, what bothers you and what you want to achieve. Include a deadline if you have one. Technical access is arranged later, once the work is defined.

How long should I allow?

It depends on the number of pages, features and approvals. We suggest a schedule after reviewing the website.

Can you support the website after the redesign?

Yes. Hosting and maintenance are offered separately, with no minimum term. You can also commission just the redesign.
