Case study · Website creation

Designing a restaurant website overlooking the sea.

We created the WordPress website for La Table de La Roya, the fine-dining restaurant at Hôtel La Roya in Saint-Florent. The website brings together menus, events, opening hours, reviews and contact.

The starting point

The project context.

For a fine-dining restaurant in a seaside hotel, the website needs to inspire while remaining useful. Visitors must understand the setting, team, service times, menus, opening hours and contact options without having to hunt for information.

The challenges

What needed to be addressed.

  1. 01

    Inspiring without hiding information

Highlight the seaside setting, fine-dining positioning and chef’s approach while keeping menus, opening hours and contact details easy to find.

  2. 02

    Presenting different visiting occasions

Clearly organise breakfast, lunch, light meals, dinner, bar, brunch and events so every visitor finds the right context.

  3. 03

    Making booking easier

Highlight practical information that matters before booking: address, telephone, email, sea access, private pontoon, parking and proximity to central Saint-Florent.

What we did

The work, step by step.

  • Created La Table de La Roya’s WordPress business website.

  • Organised a homepage around the restaurant, team, menus, events, opening hours, reviews and contact.

  • Highlighted food and set menus accessible from the website.

  • Integrated practical information: address, telephone, email, opening hours, sea access, private pontoon and parking.

Under the hood

The technical choices.

  • Dedicated WordPress structure

The presentation is organised around the venue, services, visiting occasions and practical information, with a structure suited to the business.

  • An editable structure

Everyday content such as menus, opening hours, contact details, page sections and practical information can be updated without rebuilding the entire website.

  • Custom development

Custom development organises the restaurant introduction, menu and practical information sections.

For visitors

What you find when you arrive.

  1. 01

    A clearly located venue

The homepage presents La Table de La Roya as a fine-dining restaurant in Saint-Florent, within Hôtel La Roya, right by the sea.

  2. 02

    Visible menus

The website provides access to restaurant menus, the lunch menu and the breakfast buffet brunch, with a presentation of the services offered.

  3. 03

    Complete practical information

Visitors can find opening hours, telephone, email, address, sea access, private pontoon, parking and event information.

Who visits, and why

  • Restaurant guests

Discover the venue, view menus, check opening hours and make contact to plan lunch or dinner.

  • Hotel guests and morning visitors

Identify breakfast, brunch and bar options before choosing a suitable time to visit.

  • Private or business enquiries

Quickly find the contact for organising an event in the private gardens or around the restaurant’s evening events.

What the project delivers

The project’s tangible features.

The items below describe the functions and documented work for this project. They are not measurements of traffic, enquiries or revenue.

  1. 01

    An immediately clear setting

The website locates the restaurant in Saint-Florent by the sea and quickly introduces La Table de La Roya’s fine-dining identity.

  2. 02

    More accessible menus

Visitors can view menus, understand different service times and prepare their visit before contacting the restaurant.

  3. 03

    More direct contact

Opening hours, address, telephone, email and access information are brought together to prepare a booking or event enquiry.
