Case study · Creation and editorial support

A website for the Prix Edgar Faure, following its 2026 edition.

We created prixedgarfaure.fr to present the Edgar Faure political literature prize and its 2026 edition. The website brings together the invitation, ceremony introduction and jury members, with content updates as information is supplied by the association.

The starting point

The project context.

The Association Edgar Faure has its own website, edgarfaure.fr. The literary prize needed a separate address focused on the event. For this twentieth edition, the public needed essential information, a prominent invitation image and a clear explanation that the ceremony is by invitation, with practical details sent directly to guests.

Event website

The prize and its edition in the foreground.

The opening screen combines the prize’s title, purpose and invitation image. The button leads to public information about the 2026 edition.

The challenges

What needed to be addressed.

  1. 01

Giving the prize its own address

The event website needed to be identifiable without being confused with the association’s website. Its domain name, title and navigation focus on the Edgar Faure political literature prize.

  2. 02

    Presenting an invitation-only ceremony

The public page needed to explain the prize and current edition while clearly stating access conditions. The public journey leads to the event introduction without offering registration open to everyone.

  3. 03

    Keeping text and visuals aligned

Jury information changes during preparation. The illustrated invitation and page list needed to stay consistent with the final materials supplied by the association.

What we did

The work, step by step.

  • Created a custom website on prixedgarfaure.fr, with an initial public version presented in July 2026.

  • Composed a midnight blue page with gold accents, a large heading and an invitation highlighted from the first screen.

  • Organised content into three entry points: prize introduction, 2026 edition and jury members.

  • Integrated the supplied invitation image, with WebP versions adapted to display width and a PNG fallback.

  • Updated the invitation and list of 17 jurors from final materials received in September 2026, then verified published files.

  • Set up a responsive presentation, page metadata and a link to the separate Association Edgar Faure website.

How we built it

A custom page organised around the event.

The public website uses dedicated HTML and styling, with sections accessible through navigation and images provided for different widths.

  • Editorial structure

The prize introduction, ceremony access conditions and jury occupy separate sections with headings and anchor links.

  • Responsive invitation

The browser chooses between two WebP versions of the image according to available width. On narrower screens, the layout becomes a single column.

  • Domain identity

The canonical address and metadata identify prixedgarfaure.fr. The footer retains access to the association’s website, whose role remains distinct.

For visitors

What you find when you arrive.

  1. 01

A visual identity connected to the invitation

Midnight blue, gold accents and serif lettering extend the visual style of the supplied prize invitation.

  2. 02

    Explicit access conditions

“By invitation” appears on the first screen. The dedicated section explains that practical information is sent directly to guests.

  3. 03

    A text-based jury list

The “Jury members” section complements the image with a readable, structured list of the 2026 edition’s members.

Who visits, and why

  • Readers and visitors

Understand the literary prize’s purpose, discover the current edition and view the jury.

  • Invited guests

Find the public ceremony introduction and understand that practical arrangements are sent directly to them.

  • Organising association

Have an address dedicated to the prize and have content updated as event preparations progress.

What the project delivers

A public website for a specific edition.

These results describe delivered content and functions. No increase in traffic or ceremony participation is quantified in this case study.

  1. 01

A dedicated destination for the prize

prixedgarfaure.fr presents the event and its current edition. A link lets visitors continue to the association’s website.

  2. 02

A jury list readable on the page

The 17 members appear as text in a dedicated section: their names can be read without deciphering the illustrated invitation.

  3. 03

    Content supported after creation

The September update is documented in the published page and images. The website supports preparations for the 2026 edition beyond its initial launch.
